Hon. Pol.Gen. Chatchawal Suksomjit, Member of the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand, Leader of the Thai Delegation to the 24th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum in Vancouver, together with the delegates comprising of Hon. ADM Choomnoom Ardwong, Hon. Gen. Pairoj Panichsamai, Hon. ACM Songtam Chokkanapitag, and Hon. Mr. Vorapol Socatiyanurak, visited the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver on 20 January 2016. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Ms. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver. During the visit, the Consul-General briefed the delegation on the cordial ties between Thailand and Western Canada, projects and activities of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, the promotion of Thainess and culture, the support of Thai products and exports to Canada, various consular services, as well as the projection of more than 4,000 members of Thai Community in this part of Canada.
On this occasion, the Consul-General also hosted a welcoming dinner in honour of the delegation with the participation of H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada, at her residence.
