On 22 January 2017, Ms. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver, participated in a Buddhist ceremony jointly organized by Yanviriya I Temple and the Thai Community in Vancouver and nearby cities to pay tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The ceremony was attended by more than 80 people.
