On 28 November 2015, Ms. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver presided over a well-wishing ceremony to celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of the 88th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej 5 December 2015 at Yanviriya Buddhist Temple. There were more than 60 people participating in this event comprising of officials from the Royal Thai Consulate-General as well as members of the Thai Community in Vancouver and nearby cities.
After the well-wishing ceremony and prayer, all participants jointly presented food and various necessities to the monks. They also visited the exhibitions on His Majesty the King’s biography and life-long hard work and dedication to the improvement of the people’s well-being that were shown throughout the hall.
