On 16 February 2017, Ms. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand, accompanied by Mr. Narat Vidyananda, Deputy Consul-General, met with Dr. Mark D. Evered, President, and Mr. David McGuire, Executive Director UFV International to promote education and research cooperation between Thailand and Western Canada. The two sides agreed to jointly explore the possibility of establishing a memorandum of understanding, organizing an exchange program for professors, researchers and students, and setting up a dual degree program on the fields of mutual interests between UFV and Thai universities.
