On 15 May 2017, Mrs. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver participated in the “Riceberry Rice Tasting Week”, organized by the Thai Trade Centre in Vancouver. This project airs to introduce Thai Riceberry Rice to British Columbian and Canadian, media and general public. The event was well-attended by a group of Thai restaurant operators, Thai importers, Friends of Thailand and the Canadian media.

All participants had a chance to taste 4-course menu with Thai Riceberry rice as main ingredient such as Riceberry with “Pad Gra-Prao” Chicken, “Kanom Bueng Yuan” Riceberry (Vietnamese-style stuffed crape), Riceberry Sushi with Sweet Pork and Mango, “Khow Thang Na Thang” Riceberry (Riceberry Cracker), BBQ Pork Riceberry Balls, Riceberry Pancake, Riceberry Coconut Ice-Cream and Cupcake. The participants highly enjoyed all the dishes. The event was yet another successful opportunity to introduce Thai Riceberry rice as well as to further promote new Thai Food product to the Canadian media and general public.
