On Sunday, 27th May 2018, Mr. Nontawat Chandrtri, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver presided over the merit making ceremony on Visakabucha Day at Yanviriya Buddhist Temple 1 in Vancouver, British Columbia. On this occasion, members of Thai community and their families from Vancouver and nearby cities participated in the ceremony, which included praying, merit-making, the offering of food and various necessities as well as robes to the monks.
