The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver, led by Mr. Nontawat Chandrtri, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver, participated the Silk Road Festival on Saturday July 6, 2019 at the North Plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery
Silk Road Festival aimed to promote the culture of the Asian countries that connects the West and the East by the world-famous trade routes. This event was held for the first time by North America Asean Consultants in collaboration with MOSAIC.
At the event, chef of the Royal Thai Consulate-General presented a Thai cuisine cooking demonstration of the popular Thai dishes such as Tom Yum Kai Naam Kon and Thai Coconut Jelly. During the cooking demonstration, chef also shared his in-depth knowledge and experiences on Thai cuisine and gave attendees the chance to sample the authentic Thai dishes.
