Mrs. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, welcomed Professor Dr. Kamolchai Rattanasakalwong, Council of State, and his delegation from the Office of Council of State along with the Office of the Permanent Secretary and the Department of Land Transport of Ministry of Transport who visited Canada for a study visit on the control and administration of land transport, motor vehicles registration, and safety of land transport. In this connection, on 13 June 2017 the delegation met with Mr. Kevin Desmond, TransLink CEO and attended a briefing on TransLink’s experience and best practices on Transportation Safety Management, Public Transit Management and the application of Intelligent Transportation Systems. The visit was highly successful with active exchanges of information and best practices on the administration and management of land transport.
