On 10 January 2016, Mrs. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver, presided over the New Year celebration ceremony at Budhapanyanantarama Temple in Burnaby, BC, Canada. After the prayer, sermon, meditation and well-wishing ceremony, all participants jointly presented food and various necessities to the monks for good merit making. On this auspicious occasion, participants also raised fund for the publishing of Dharma books in Thai and English languages with the common view to help propagate Buddhism in Western Canada.

Mrs. Sutthiluck also exchanged views and informed members of the Thai Community about the Consulate’s up-coming events and activities.
