On Sunday, 14th May 2017, Mrs. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver presided over the merit making ceremony on Visakabucha Day at Yanviriya Buddhist Temple in Vancouver, British Columbia. On this occasion, members of Thai community and their families from Vancouver and nearby cities participated in the ceremony, which included praying and meditation, the offering of food and various necessities as well as robes to the monks for good merit making.
